Greetings to all from A Coruña; Lucas Perez has scored 5 goals in the last 5 games .....
many fans of West Ham and Pellegrini did not believe in the ..... In Deportivo Alavés he has again shown that he is one of the best scorers in Spain.

It was Perez's fault he didn't make it here, not the club's. So all you're doing is flagging his mistake not "ours".
Personally I liked him as a player as he had a knack of scoring shithouse goals when we needed them and no-one else looked like scoring. But as we all know he made himself un-keepable at the club.

Watching him live in a stadium (pretty closely) made me realise what a good player he was.
He's at least as good as Haller (worse with his head but at least as good with the ball at his feet and a better finisher) but I heard he was a disruptive influence in the dressing room.
Fuck knows if that's true though but he was a lot better than a lot on here seem to think he was.

Would have been interested to seen how the likes of Cottee and Lineker would have done in the modern game with the one up front way of playing and a manager who refused to play to their strengths whereas a Shearer or a Grahame Sharp would have probably still banged the goals in. In fact to be fair Jermain Defoe did extremely well to play as well as he did as the years and tactical changes progressed (or regressed!)
Perez had the wrong attitude though and you could see it a mile off. Clearly had the hump Arsenal ditched him and obviously thought he was too good for West Ham. Would take dear old Carlton up top instead of Perez all day long!

Didn't Noble say he was the best finisher last season? I don't think he was suited to the Premier League. Doesn't mean he wouldn't do well elsewhere.
Most were happy to offload him and Hernandez. Both were goalscorers but often ineffective in our side.

I think this has happened: we signed a good player but that is not a crack, so that the craks do not fall asleep ....... front footballers that cost many millions cannot be substitutes.

He had a few decent games for us but overall did nothing to become a key or first choice player. That's not the manager's fault.
